Hire the 3G or grass pitch at County Sports Ground
County Sports Ground is a football hub. With 2 full-size pitches fully equipped with floodlights, team dugouts, corner flags and spectator viewing areas, the site is suitable for a range of formal and informal football events. Find out more about our 3G pitch, grass pitch and changing rooms below.
1. 3G Pitch
Our state-of-the-art 3G pitch is available for hire for all types of football including 11v11 matches, 5-a-side tournaments or a kickabout with mates. The 3G pitch also has floodlights for evening events.
Please note: Only footwear with plastic moulded studs can be worn on our 3G pitch. This includes all coaches and volunteers entering the pitch, so please ensure all participants have the correct footwear before booking. Entry will be refused to anyone not wearing the required footwear.

2. Grass Pitch
The grass pitch at County Sports Ground, complete with high-specification floodlights, is home to Worcester City FC. This means that the grass pitch is often unavailable on Saturdays, Sundays and midweek evenings whilst hosting fixtures and undergoing maintenance. However, you can contact us to enquire about the availability of the grass pitch and we will do our best to help you.

3. Changing Rooms
There are four team changing rooms at County Sports Ground. Each one is spaciously designed to cater for 16 players with shower and toilet facilities within.
Our match official changing rooms are designed with a balance between a comfortable socialising space whilst ensuring privacy. In match official changing room 1 there are individually locking booths, each with a bench and private shower facility, catering for different genders in the same area. Match official changing room 2 is a more traditional space including a bench, showers and a toilet.
Changing rooms can be added to your booking at an additional cost.
