WFA Girls PDC Trials

This years trials will be held at the University of Worcester’s 3G pitch WR2 6AJ 6pm – 7.30pm. Players will need to attend both days.
Players will be assessed using the four corner model which consists of the following areas:
- Social (interaction with others)
- Psychological (dealing with pressure, understanding the game)
- Physical (fitness, strength)
- Technical (skills, control, passing, shooting)

The Girls Player Development Centre is the first step onto the Elite Player Pathway. PDC’s feed into Centre’s of Excellence where players are expected to meet a certain standard of football. The PDC’s aim is to prepare you as a player as much as possible to make that next step into elite football. The PDC will focus on many areas around a syllabus which has been designed with players performance, development and fitness in mind.
