Worcestershire FA partner with Smart Cut Limited

A new 12-month partnership to support the grassroots football community

Worcestershire Football Association and Smart Cut Limited have announced a new 12-month partnership to support the grassroots football community by offering a range of grounds maintenance services.

The new partnership will see Smart Cut become the recommended provider to all Worcestershire FA clubs and organisations for the upkeep of their facilities. This includes contracted grass cutting, Verti-Draining, Slitting, Scarification, Decompaction, Selective Herbicide (weed treatment), Fertiliser, Overseeding, Top Dressing and Line Marking.

In addition, Worcestershire FA will recommend Smart Cut to all clubs engaging with the Football Foundation Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund, a vital part of our commitment to enhancing the quality of grass pitches across the county.

Our lead Football Development Officer for Facilities and Partnerships, Jack Handsaker, said: “I am delighted to be working with Smart Cut to further enhance our commitment to increasing grass pitch quality across the county. After discussions with Tom and the team, it was clear that their drive to provide a professional service was at the forefront and I am excited to see the work they can provide across Worcestershire.”

Tom Rimell, Director of Smart Cut Limited, said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside Worcestershire FA. This will give us the opportunity to expand our existing pitch care services working closely with the County FA and grassroots Clubs to secure grants and expertise that previously would not have been available to them. We pride ourselves in providing a bespoke personal service.”
