Worcestershire FA are searching for young and passionate football volunteers to join our newly reformed Youth Network.

If you are aged 16-24 and have an active interest for volunteering in local football, then this is an exciting opportunity for you!

The Application Process, Criteria and Requirements

Applicants must be aged between 16 and 24 and be actively engaged in volunteering in football within Worcestershire.

You will need to:

• Be committed to attending and actively participating in all Worcestershire FA Youth Network meetings

• Be committed to the aims of Worcestershire FA Youth Network and prioritise providing a voice for young people in Worcestershire football

• Be willing to actively participate in the work of the Worcestershire FA Youth Network and Worcestershire FA Development Team

• Be willing to complete the FA DBS & Safeguarding process

We are looking to fulfil the following roles within our Youth Network: 

• Chairperson 

• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead 

• Disability Lead 

• Girls Football Lead 

• Youth Grassroots and Local Leagues Lead 

• Refereeing Lead 

• Social Media & Events Lead 

Being part of the Youth Council will require a commitment to regularly attend meetings, which will typically take place monthly at Worcestershire FA Offices (or online via Microsoft Teams) between 6:30-8:30pm. Occasional support at further evening & weekend events is also encouraged, when required.
